How to Add and Upload Photos On Facebook

Whether you use your Facebook account for personal or business reasons, sooner or later you will want to upload photos to share with your friends, family members or clients. You can upload a photo as easily as you make a status update.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Facebook account.

2. Click "Add Photo" in the Update Status section at the top of your home page or profile.

3. Select "Upload Photo / Video." Click the "Choose File" button and locate the photo on your computer. Click on the photo to highlight it and click "Choose" to upload it.

4. Type a message in the box provided. Indicate the location of the photo and the people in the photo using the icons in the lower left corner of the Update Status area. Choose a privacy setting from the audience selector in the bottom right corner and click "Post."

5. Upload an album of photos in the same manner. Click "Add Photo" from the Update Status area of your home page or profile. Select "Create Photo Album" followed by "Select Photos." Navigate to the photos on your computer. Hold the "Command" key down while you select multiple photos by clicking on them. Click on "Open" to start the upload. Type in a name for the album in the window that appears.
