How to Combine Events in iPhoto

Mac's iPhoto helps you edit, organize and share all of your photographs. If you have a lot of pictures, then organizing them is most likely a huge priority for you. iPhoto creates "events" as the main way to differentiate your pictures. If you need to reduce the number of events you have, combining them is a good way to help create space.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on the iPhoto icon located on your computer's dock. Search for iPhoto with the spotlight feature if it is not located on your dock. Access spotlight by clicking on the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

    • 2

Click on "Events," located on the left side of your screen under "Library."

    • 3

Click on an event to select all of the pictures in it, then drag it into the second event that you wish to merge it with.

    • 4

Click "Merge Events" on the resulting prompt to finalize the merge.
