If you want an all-natural method of preventing wrinkles, then make a homemade facial peel. Commercial facial peels often include preservatives and harsh chemicals that can harm sensitive skin. Make your own facial mask with common household ingredients to keep your skin feeling smooth. Applying a face peel daily will keep your pores clear, remove blemishes and allow your skin to relax. Once you make your own face peel mask, you will never have to spend money on commercial anti-wrinkle masks again.

Things You'll Need

  • Cucumber
  • Knife
  • Blender
  • Small bowl
  • Green tea bag
  • 2 packages unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tbsp. aloe vera gel
  • Sieve
  • Papaya
  • 3 tbsp. mineral water

Cucumber Face Mask

Peel the skin off the cucumber. Cut the cucumber in half and use a knife to remove the seeds.

Cut the cucumber into 1-inch pieces. Place these cucumber pieces in a blender, puree until no large chunks are present. Add the pureed cucumber to a small bowl.

Prepare a half cup of green tea. Add the gelatin to the prepared tea, and stir until the gelatin dissolves. Then add 2 tbsp. of aloe vera gel.

Pour the cucumber mixture into a sieve. This will remove any large pieces. Add the cucumber juice and the tea solution together. Stir until the ingredients are blended well.

Place the face mask in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. You can use the face mask once it thickens.

Cover your face with the cucumber mask mixture. Leave the mixture on your face for 20 minutes, and then peel it off. You will need to clean off any of the mask that stays behind on your face.

Papaya Face Mask

Remove the skin from the papaya. Use a knife to take out the seeds. Cut the papaya into ½-inch pieces, and place them in the blender until the mixture becomes smooth.

Add one package of unflavored gelatin to the mineral water. Place the gelatin and water over low heat to warm the mixture. Do not bring it to a boil, but continue to stir until the gelatin dissolves completely.

Pour the mixture into a bowl. Run the pureed papaya juice through a sieve, and save the juice. Pour the juice into the bowl with the gelatin and water mixture.

Let the mixture cool for 15 minutes. Place it in the refrigerator until it becomes firm. Once the mixture becomes thick like paste, it is ready to apply to your face.

Apply the facial mask to your face with a brush. Do not apply the mixture over your eyes or upper lip. Peel the mask off after 15 to 20 minutes.
