If you are starting a business, organizing a softball team or joining a scout troop (among other things), a logo on a hat is a great way to market your company or show some spirit. In just a few simple steps, you can put your own logo on any type of hat. Adding a logo to a hat can be done in several ways, but the easiest way is to iron it on.
Things You'll Need
- Ironing board
- Iron-on logo patch
Have your logo created in the form of an iron-on patch. This can be done for just a few dollars at a graphics store or online patch store.
Heat up your iron for about five minutes until hot and place on the ironing board out of the reach of children and pets.
Place the iron-on logo in the spot you want it. Make sure it is as straight as possible.
Put a T-shirt or pillow case on top of the logo, then press the iron down on top of them for about seven seconds. Remove immediately so you don't burn the patch. Turn the hat inside out and iron it again from the other side.
Place a heavy object like a paper weight on top of the now-attached logo to add pressure while the adhesive is still settling.
Tips & Warnings
- Do not leave the iron on the patch for too long or the logo will burn.
