How to Transfer TurboTax From One Computer to Another
TurboTax is a program that can automate the rather difficult task of calculating your tax return. When migrating your TurboTax files from one computer to another, there are two types of files to move: installation files and user files. Installation files can only be moved by installing the program to another computer; after that, the user files can be safely shipped over via USB drive.
