How to Change Internet Font Sizes

All web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari, include a feature that allows users to change text font size. This option is useful for nearsighted people or when your screen is too dark. You can use either file menu options to make these changes.

Instructions

  1. Internet Explorer

      Start the Internet Explorer and click the "View" file menu option.

      Select "Text Size."

      Click the corresponding option to increase or decrease the font.

    Mozilla Firefox

      Start Mozilla Firefox and click the "View" file menu option.

      Select "Zoom" and click to check "Zoom Text Only."

    Safari

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also press "Ctrl" and "+" keys to increase, and "Ctrl" and "-" to decrease the text in all of these browsers after your open the window.

  • Some browsers include a magnifying glass icon in the bottom-right corner of the window that can be used to change text size.
