How to Upload Documents Onto My Web Pages
Uploading a document online is a simple way to share information with friends, family and colleagues without having to send the file personally to every individual. All standard text documents, such as Word documents or TXT files, as well as PDF documents can be converted to HTML using standard office software. Convert and upload these documents to your online Web host to get an instant Web page for each document.

Convert a PDF document if applicable. Create a new email in your favorite email interface. Attach the PDF document to the email and send it to pdf2html@adobe.com. You will receive an email back within five to 10 minutes with the converted PDF as an HTML file. Save the file from your email to your computer desktop.

Upload the document to your Web page. Launch your FTP software. If you do not have one, you can download one online. The software will ask for your Web hosting server, user name and password. Enter this information when prompted. If you do not know your login details, contact your web host for assistance.

Drag the converted documents from your computer desktop to the FTP software. The software will automatically upload the documents to your server. It is now accessible as its own stand-alone Web page at yourdomain.com/documentname.html, where "yourdomain.com" is your website and "documentname.html" is the specific name of the document file you uploaded.
