1
Shampoo and condition your hair like you normally do. When you are finished, towel dry your hair. Comb your hair out in front of the mirror with a wide-toothed comb.
-
2
Flip your head upside down and blow dry your hair. Start at the roots and dry from the scalp outwards. Dry the hair completely. Comb your hair again with your wide-toothed comb.
-
-
3
Section off your hair with hair clips. Put two clips on top, one on each side and one in the back.
-
4
Flat iron your hair, straightening all the hair one section at a time. To get a good, straight base look, work with one inch sections at a time.
-
5
Lift up two inch sections at the back of the crown. Hold the hair up straight by the ends. Use your rattail comb to gently backcomb or tease your hair about three inches from the scalp. After each section in the back of the crown is teased, squirt it with a blast of hair spray. Let the hairspray dry for about a minute before moving on.
-
6
Using your rattail comb, form a bouffant with the teased hair. Comb over the outside of the peak lightly with the comb. Secure the hair over the tease and clip it with the barrette. Blast it one more time with hair spray, combing loose hair in place.

Tips & Warnings
If you like, use a comb instead of a barrette. A decorative comb or pin would be really pretty.
