How to Make Metallic Christmas Balls

Turn plain Christmas balls into fancy ornaments.

• Acrylic Paints
• Frosted-glass Christmas Tree Ornaments
• Gold And Silver Paint Pens
• Matte Sprays
• Acrylic Paints
• Paper Cups
• Stirrers
• Gel Markers
• Paper cups

1. Get a package of frosted-glass Christmas balls.

2. Squeeze about 1 tbsp. acrylic paint into a paper cup.

3. Add 1 tsp. water and mix thoroughly.

4. Carefully take the top off the ball. If you squeeze the wire loop, the top will come off easier.

5. Pour the mixture into the ball. Use a small funnel if necessary.

6. Swirl the paint around until the ball is completely coated inside.

7. Pour the excess paint back into the cup.

8. Let the paint dry. This will take about 6 hours.

9. Decorate the outside of the ball with paisley shapes or dots using gel markers or metallic paint pens.

10. Finish with a coat of matte spray.

11. Put the cap back on the ball and tie a pretty ribbon on it.
