How to Remove QuickBooks
QuickBooks is a financial management software package that is used by individuals and businesses. The software is made by Intuit Inc., a software company that creates a full range of QuickBooks products and services. You may want to uninstall the software if you find a better solution or decide not to use the software. The uninstall the software, you will need about 10 minutes.

Windows XP/2000

Go to your "Start" button at the bottom of your desktop and click it.

Scroll up to "Settings" and click. Go to "Control Panel" and click. Double-click "Add/Remove Programs."

Find and highlight QuickBooks. Hit the "Remove" button to the right. Hit "Next" in the installation window that appears. Select "Remove" and then click "Next."

Click "Remove." The system will begin removing the software.

Close all windows and restart the computer when the process is complete.
Windows Vista

Go to your "Start" button at the bottom of the desktop and click it. Scroll up to "Control Panel" and select it.

Hit "Uninstall a program" under the "Programs" tab. Right-click the QuickBooks line and scroll down to select "Uninstall." You may be asked to provide credentials.

Hit "Yes." The computer will begin to uninstall the software.

Close all windows and restart the computer when the process is complete.
Mac

Click on the "Finder" icon or "Hard Drive" icon on your desktop.

Click on the "Applications" icon on the left side of the window that appears. This will give you a list of applications installed on your Mac.

Highlight the QuickBooks icon. Drag the icon onto your "Trash" icon on your desktop or in your dock.

Click on your "Trash" icon your desktop or dock. Click on an empty area in the "Trash" folder, scroll down and click "Empty Trash."
