How to Install Turbo Tax From a CD
When April 15th rolls around, many people turn to tax software to prepare their own tax returns for the Internal Revenue Service and their state's taxing agency. One such program is TurboTax, by Intuit. TurboTax offers users the ability to prepare and submit their tax returns from their own computer and can be purchased and installed from a CD drive.

Close out any other programs or windows that are open.

Insert the TurboTax CD into the CD-ROM drive. Wait for the installer to appear on your screen. The installer should start automatically.

Follow the on-screen instructions that appear. You will need to accept Intuit's terms of service, and provide information about yourself such as your name and if applicable, your organization.

Tips & Warnings
If the installer does not activate, go to "My Computer" and double-click on the TurboTax icon.
Consider uninstalling any previous versions of TurboTax to increase memory.
