How to Fix a Bad Code Key in Windows XP

Microsoft Windows XP disables operating system availability when a bad key is found. This happens after you install the service packs released by Microsoft to fix some of the security and bug issues. Even though the operating system is locked, you can fix the problem by inserting a new Windows XP key into the reactivation window included with the operating system. Once activated, the operating system is unlocked and you can return to normal computer activity.
