Visit Facebook!
To establish a facebook account you must connect to facebook's url at http://www.facebook.com. You can sign up and establish an account form the home page by filling out the information under "Sign Up." You will need to provide some personal information, including: first name, last name, email address, new password, gender, and date of birth. Once you have entered the information, click "sign up" to create your account.

Update Information!
On the profile tab click "information." You can click "edit information" to update information about yourself, including: Basic Information (Networks, Sex, Birthday, Hometown, Relationship Status, Interest In, Looking For, Political Views, and Religious Views), Personal Information (Activities, Interests, Favorite Music, Favorite TV Shows, Favorite Movies, Favorite Books, and Favorite Quotations), Contact Information (Email, Mobile Number, AIM), Education & Work (College, Highschool, Employer, Position, Time Period, Location), Groups (Member Of:), & Pages.

How To Upload A Picture!
To upload a profile picture, you must be on your "profile" tab. Once there, click on the "wall" tab and there will be an attachments section. Under the attachments section, you will find an option for photo attachment (should be listed as the first item in the list). Click on the photo attachment to upload a photo.

Photo Attachment Options!
Facebook offers 3 options for photo attachment, which include: "Upload A Photo," "Take A Photo," and "Create An Album." To upload a photo that is already saved to your computer, click upload a photo and browse the computer for the photo location. You can take a photo with a webcam, by clicking "Take A Photo." If you have a lot of photo to upload from a trip or event you might want to consider creating an album.

Adding A Profile Picture!
Once you have uploaded a photo you can click on it, wherein you will be given an option to make it your profile picture. In the lower right-hand corner of the screen, click on "Make Profile Picture." You will then be prompted to crop the picture. Once you are finished cropping the photo, click "done cropping." The photo is now your profile picture.
