How to Make Website Words Flash

It's no secret that flashy websites with animations, bright colors and sound effects have a way of grabbing your attention. If you're trying to draw people to a certain section of your website, try adding blinking text. It's important not to crowd your page with too much animation, however, because it can slow down how your web page loads. In addition, visitors who prefer less animation may be repelled. You can make words flash on a web page by using animation software like Adobe Flash or you may utilize a Flash text generator tool online.

Instructions

1. Go to JellyMuffin.com to create flashing text for your website (see References).

2. Use the scrollbar under "Choose Font" to find your preferred font, then click on a glitter of your choice.

3. Place a checkmark by "Blink Effect" to create flashing words. You can also add bevel, blur, shadow, glow and fade effects to your text by picking those options.

4. Type in the words for your text into the "Type Text" textbox and pick a font size. An HTML code will be generated below the preview of your flashing words.

5. Select the HTML code and copy it. Then open your favorite website editor, paste the code where you'd like the words to appear and save your work.
