Instructions

    • 1

Use WD-40. Depending on the type you have, spray or pour a small amount on an old rag and use it to soften the edges of the bumper sticker. Once you have a corner of the sticker loose turn it back onto the face of the bumper sticker. Continue to gently rub the WD-40 against the part of the sticker still attached to the car as you roll the unstuck portion back onto itself.

Use baby oil. Pour a small amount of baby oil onto a cloth and use it to dissolve the glue on the edges of the sticker.

    • 3

Use a hair dryer. Using one of the above methods to loosen an edge of the sticker, pull the sticker up in one hand while applying heat via the hair dryer with the other. Hold the hair dryer five to seven inches from the sticker and blow the air directly towards the underside of the sticker to melt the glue and allow the sticker to peel off.

Wax the area. After the sticker has been removed, clean and dry the area and apply a coat of wax. Buff it to match the rest of the bumper.
