A carolina rig is a versatile and productive piece of fishing gear used by many bass anglers as a search bait. The carolina rig is usually used in water deeper than 10 feet. It gives the fisherman a good feel for what is on the bottom of the lake or pond. Many different types of soft plastic baits can be used on the carolina rig.
