Whether you're going for a minimalist look or want everything at your fingertips, file and web browsers give you multiple options to make things convenient specifically for your needs. If you need more space or feel that the address bar is too small, you can adjust it to your needs so that it works with your setup.
Things You'll Need
- Windows PC
Open Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer or a file folder.
Locate your address bar at the top of the window. The address bar is used for typing in the name of websites or showing you which folder you are browsing. If you know the exact destination of a file folder you are looking for, you can type the exact address here and your computer will navigate to it for you.
Hover your cursor over the address bar and move to the left edge of the address bar. Your cursor will change from the mouse pointer to two arrows on a horizontal line.
Click and hold your left mouse button and drag the address bar to the desired size.
