I had this at Jamba Juice when I was in Colorado. There's is amazing so I thought I would attempt to make one just like it and have come pretty close. Here is the recipe.
Things You'll Need
- 1% Milk
- Light Yogurt (Vanilla or Plain)
- Granola (I use Bear Naked)
- Frozen Strawberries
- Chunky Peanut Butter
- Appetite for good breakfast
Take out your Blender and start putting these ingredients into it. This makes enough for 2-3 people. I estimate the calories at around 400. The calories can adjust with the different items you use.
1/2 cup of 1% Milk
4 Tbsp of Light Yogurt (Vanilla or Plain)
4 Tbsp of peanut butter (chunky is my favorite)
1/4 cup of granola (my favorite is Bear Naked Fit)
1 cup of frozen strawberries
1 banana cut into small slices about 1/4 inch
1 tsp of honey
Mix in the blender using pulse or turning it on and off. You don't want it the consistency of a smoothie but more like a yogurt parfait with granola in it.
After mixing in the blender, then pour into cups. I add a couple of tsp of granola on top then cut up another banana and spread them on top of each of the cups.
Then just eat up and enjoy!
