1
Measure your inseam in inches. Use a tape measure and measure the distance from the inside of your leg right beneath the crotch, to the top of your feet. If you have problems taking your own inseam measurement, use a pair of your favorite pants instead. Lay the pants on a flat surface and measure the same as above.
-
2
Measure your waist in inches. Wrap the tape measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, or simplymeasure the waistband of your favorite pair of pants.

-
3
Measure your hips in inches. Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your hips. Stand with your feet together to ensure the measurement is not too wide.
-
4
Measure your "rise" in inches by running the tape measure from your waist to your crotch. You can also do this on a pair of your favorite pants, by measuring the inches from the top of the pant's waistband to the crotch.

Visit the Silver Jeans Web site or authorized retailer. After finding a pair of jeans that you like, choose the appropriate measurements. You will have to choose the "Inseam," "Waist," "Rise," and "Hips" size.
When choosing a "rise" keep the following in mind: A low rise jean will sit low on your waist. A rise measurement of 8 to 10 inches is considered low rise. If your rise measurement is 11 to 12 inches, choose a "Mid Rise" jean or "Natural Rise" if you want the jeans to sit on your natural waistline.
