How to Use a Video Capture Card With My PS3
Connecting a video game console, such as the Sony PS3, to your computer system will require a video capture card. The PS3 will use the same type of connections with the video capture that are used to connect the unit to a television set. You can then install and use software for the video capture card to record the video or capture a picture from the PS3.

Connect one end of an RCA audio/video cable to the video and audio output of the PS3

Connect the other end of the RCA audio/video cable to the video and audio inputs on the video capture card in your computer.

Turn on power for the PS3.

Double click the icon on your desktop for the video capture card software. Change the input source for the video, if necessary, until you see the video from the PS3 on the monitor.

Maximize the window or select the option to make the video display in full-screen mode.
