How to Share Printers in XP

If you have multiple PC computers in a home or office setting but only one USB printer, you can set up printer sharing through the Windows XP operating system. By sharing a printer in XP, all other computers on the local wireless or Ethernet network will be able to send files and documents to a single printer. In order for printer sharing to work correctly, the USB printer must be shared from a host computer, and the host system must always be on.
