How to Play Bejeweled Twist
Bejeweled Twist features jewels, locks and bombs on its game board. Game players must attempt to match the like gems in groups of three or more to score as many points as possible before a "Bomb Gem" comes onto the game board. Bomb Gems can end your game if you do not clear them off the board. Bejeweled Twist can only be downloaded and played on computers running Windows XP or Windows Vista. A free 60-minute trial version of the game is available for download, with the full version costing $9.95 as of December 2009.

Navigate to the PopGames website (see Resources) to download and play Bejeweled Twist. If this is your first time, enter your name to create a game profile. If it is already on your computer, open it up.

Select your preferred game mode. The options are Classic, Zen, Challenge and Blitz. Classic and Zen have doom gems, locks and bombs with the only difference being that you can't lose in Zen. Challenge has twist puzzles and Blitz is a five-minute timed game of Classic mode.

Use your mouse to move the rotator eye around the game board. Click the right mouse button to move the selected gems in a clockwise twist. Click the left mouse button to move the selected gems in a counter clockwise twist.

Attempt to get three or more gems of the same color in a line when you do your twist. This clears those gems off the board and gives you points.

Match four in a row or make a plus sign, T or L shape with your match to get a "Flame Gem." The Flame Gem destroys the surrounding eight gems as well as the matched gems.

Match five in a row and get a "Lightning Gem." The Lightning Gem destroys all the gems in the row and column.

Tips & Warnings
Gems with a padlock icon are "Locked Gems" and cannot be twisted, but can be matched and destroyed.
