How to Make Cardamom and Clove Mouthwash

Things You'll Need
- 2 cups distilled water
- 2 tbsp. whole cloves
- 1/8 tsp. ground cardamom
- Clean plastic funnel
- Glass bottle with tight-fitting lid

Pour the water into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.

Place the cloves and ground cardamom in a heat-resistant mixing bowl, and pour the boiling water over them. Let the mixture steep until the water has cooled to room temperature.

Strain the mixture through a colander, reserving the water in a small saucepan or mixing bowl. Discard the cloves.

Using a clean plastic funnel, transfer the cardamom and clove mouthwash to a glass bottle with a tight-fitting lid.

Tips & Warnings
To use, rinse your mouth with one tablespoon of the cardamom and clove mouthwash for about 30 seconds. Rinse with cool water after using.
