The iPhone is a feature-rich cell phone that allows you to perform tons of tasks. You can take pictures and videos, browse the Web, download music from iTunes and play all kinds of video games. One of the many customizable features of the iPhone is its Home screen wallpaper, which is the image you see behind your app icons on your Home screen. Changing the Home screen background is a straightforward process that only requires a few steps.

Step 1

Tap the "Settings" icon from the Home screen.

Step 2

Tap "Wallpaper."

Step 3

Tap the Home screen image displayed on the right.

Step 4

Tap either "Wallpaper" or "Camera Roll," depending on whether you want to use the wallpapers included on the iPhone or ones that you've taken with your phone's camera.

Step 5

Tap on the image you want to use for a wallpaper. You should now see a preview of the image as your wallpaper.

Step 6

Tap "Set" to set that image as your wallpaper.

Step 7

Tap either "Set Home Screen" or "Set Both" if you want the wallpaper for only your Home screen wallpaper or both the Home screen and the Lock screen.
