How to Put One Page As Landscape & Maintain the Page Numbers in Word 2007

Microsoft Word enables users to prepare large documents that can be formatted in chapters and select pages that have a different page orientation or contain columns. After you set up a main header and footer that includes page numbers for your document, the setting automatically applies to defined sections unless you create section-specific headers, footers and pagination. Use the "Insert" function to add a section break to designate parts of your document with unique formatting needs such as a landscape orientation. Insert a section break at the end of the desired page to resume default formatting.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the cursor at the start of the desired page, select "Break" under "Insert" in the top menu bar and select the option,"Section Break (Next Page)."

    • 2

Place the cursor at the end of the desired page, select "Break" under "Insert" in the top menu bar and select the option, "Section Break (Next Page)."
