How to Add Dogpile to an Opera Search Engine List

Dogpile is a metasearch tool that allows you to query several top search engines, such as Yahoo! and Google, at one time. You can use the Opera web browser in connection with Dogpile to create an effective web search experience that allows you to browse the Web with the speed that the browser is known for.

      Launch your Opera browser and type the Dogpile address in the search field (or follow the link in the Resources below).

      Hold down the "Ctrl" button on your keyboard and click the browser's search field to select the "Create search" option. Alternately, select "Preferences" from the "Opera" drop-down menu and click the "Search" tab.

      Click the "Add" button, then type "Dogpile" in the "Name" field and "http://www.dogpile.com" in the "Address" field. Further, type a letter, such as "D," in the "Keyword" text field to create a Dogpile shortcut when searching with this website. Click "OK" when done.
