How to Convert an EPS File to a JPEG or a GIF
EPS stands for Encapsulated PostScript, which is a vector-based graphics file. A PostScript file typically contains the text description of an image rather than the actual binary pixels. You can easily scale such files in size and resolution without degrading the image quality. To manipulate PostScript files, you need a graphics editing program. For example, Adobe Photoshop allows you to open an EPS file, and convert it to a binary image format, such as JPEG or GIF.
