1
Dig a trench with a shovel along the pathway that you want your water fall to take.
-
2
Attach the end of a roll of pond tubing to the outflow tube of a submersible landscaping waterfall pump.
-
-
3
Place the pump in the bottom of your pond or basin.
-
4
Unroll the tubing along the length of your trench. Cut the end of the tubing off of the roll with a utility knife when the end has reached the head of your trench where the water will emerge for the waterfall.
-
5
Cover the trench and tubing with opaque PVC pond liner sheeting. Cut the edges of the sheeting so that they slightly overlap the edges of the trench.
-
6
Cover the edges of the sheeting of your waterfall with large landscaping rocks to hide the border of your waterfall. Fill the trench with a layer of pea sized gravel to hide the sheeting.
-
7
Hide the end of the tubing where the water will come out beneath a large landscaping rock. Plug in the submersible pump and allow the water to cascade down the trench.
