Instructions

    • 1

Liberally apply a heat protectant product to clean hair that has been blow dried.

    • 2

Gently comb hair to remove any and all tangles.

    • 3

Separate hair into four sections using ponytail holders.

    • 4

Free one 1-inch wide section of hair, and clamp the flat iron on the hair 2-inches from the scalp. Twist the iron 180 degrees, hold for two seconds and then release. You will then move down two inches from that area and repeat the motion. This will create waves.

    • 5

Repeat the flat-iron technique on the entire head of hair.

    • 6

Carefully tease the hair with a rattail comb.

    • 7

Spray hair with hairspray and then run your fingers through the waves to set the style.

Tips & Warnings

  • For stubborn hair, mousse can also be used post flat iron.
