How to Create a Wearable Winter Holiday Eye Look

During the winter months, there are many holidays to celebrate and show love for. A great way to express yourself is through makeup, and choosing a festive eye look is a great way to show your holiday cheer. This holiday-inspired look is flattering for all skin tones and all winter holidays. With a few tips and pointers, you can create this look at home. This look can be worn day or night.

Things You'll Need

• Eye primer
• Shimmering gold eye shadow
• Shadow brush
• Cranberry eye shadow
• Blending brush
• Shimmering green
• Highlight brush
• Highlight powder
• Liner brush
• Black eye liner
• Black mascara
• Plum blush (optional)
• Plum lipstick (optional)

Instructions

1. Pat on eye primer to the eyelid and brow bone with your fingers.

2. Pat on a shimmering gold eye shadow to the inner half of the eyelid with a shadow brush.

3. Apply a cranberry eye shadow to the outer half of the eye with a shadow brush.

4. Use a blending brush to apply a shimmering green eye shadow into the crease. Blend the crease by sweeping from the outer corner to the inner crease.

5. Use a highlight brush to apply a highlight powder to the brow bone.

6. Line the lower lash line with the shimmering gold eye shadow, using a liner brush.

7. Use a liner brush to line the outer lower lash line with the cranberry eye shadow.

8. Apply a black eye liner to the lower waterline and your upper tight line. The tight line is located just beneath the eyelashes. It won't hurt the eye to apply liner there.

9. Apply black eye liner to the upper lash line.

10. Use black mascara on the upper lashes only. Take care not to clump the lashes.

• A plum-colored blush and lipstick would add a festive touch to this eye look.
