How to Tie Down a Four Wheeler Using Tie-Down Straps
Properly securing your ATV is important for many reasons. The last thing that you or anyone wants is to have a four-wheeler come off of a truck or trailer when you are driving down the road. Securing an ATV is an easy task that must be done properly to keep you and everyone around you safe while protecting your equipment.

Push the four-wheeler to the front of the truck bed toward the cab. Connect the hook at the end of the tie strap to the right handlebar.

Connect the hook on the opposite end of the tie-down to the anchor point on the right side of the truck bed. Pull the tie-down tight.

Repeat the process for the other side of the handlebar.

Pull the tie-down straps so that they are secured tightly. Do this to both sides of the four-wheeler.

Connect one tie down strap hook on each side of the rear frame of the four-wheeler. Connect the opposite end hooks to the anchor points on the bed of the truck.

Pull the tie down straps so that they are secured tightly. Pull slightly on the four-wheeler to make sure that it will not move.

Tips & Warnings
Some trucks don't have anchor points in the bed. You will have to pull the straps over the bed and connect them to the frame underneath the truck. You can also follow these steps for a trailer.
