It's much prettier in cake form.

For holiday parties, birthday celebrations or any gathering, everyone loves eating yummy desserts. (Even if you don't have a party to attend, this still is a great and simple recipe to make.) This is a tasty recipe for a filipino cassava cake - made easy! This is a delicious cake I've tried that my aunt continues to make and bring to most of our parties.

Things You'll Need

  • 2 frozen packages grated cassava
  • 1 can cream of coconut
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking pan

Instructions

    • 1

      Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

    • 2

      Mix cassava, cream of coconut and coconut milk together in a bowl.

    • 3

      Pour the cassava/coconut-mixture into a baking pan.

    • 4

      Place the pan in the oven and bake your cake for around 30 to 35 minutes.

    • 5

      Take out the pan when the cake starts to brown on the sides. Pour the condensed milk on top of the cake.

    • 6

      Return the pan to the oven and bake for 15 more minutes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep an eye on the oven. You don't want it to get burnt and ruin the taste.
