How to Remove the Fast Browser Search Toolbar
The other day, for no apparent reason all of a sudden the normal search toolbar was replaced by something called "Fast Browser Search". Deciding not to discount this new option, a trial period was initiated.
After about a week it was determined that the Fast Browser Search toolbar was not helpful at all. This internet toolbar had to be removed.
Research revealed that this web toolbar, Fast Browser Search tool, was downloaded from the Facebook application "My Web Tattoo" and is automatically installed when this application is used, very similar to the way Spyware and Adware are installed on a system. Luckily, it is not harmful and this popup toolbar was actually quite easy to remove.

Steps 2 and 3 are for Firefox Users. Internet Explorer Users will need to skip ahead to step 4.

To remove this internet toolbar from Firefox, simply click on the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen, and then select "Add-ons".

This will bring up the screen where all the plug-ins and toolbars are installed for your browser. This is also where you should be able to find "Fast Browser Search". When you locate it, just click on it, then click the "Uninstall" button that appears. This will allow you to remove the plugin easily and without any hassle.

If you are running Internet Explorer, you can remove this web toolbar by clicking on the small "down arrow" button which is part of the main search button for the toolbar.

Click on the "help" option.

After that, you need to click on "Uninstall" and then follow the on-screen instructions.

If all else fails...
Click on the start button in the lower left-hand corner of your computer screen.

Click "Control Panel", then select the "Add or Remove Programs" option.

From the program list find Fast Browser Search program and uninstall program.
