How to Clean My Mac Computer
Unlike PCs, which can be easily opened for upgrades, but leaving internal components vulnerable to massive dust build-ups, Macintosh computers are virtually air-tight and require little effort on the part of the end user to maintain. Because of this, cleaning a Mac is a very easy task that requires little more than a towel and some water.
Things You'll Need

1
Power down your Mac. This is purely for safety reasons.

Wipe down the outer plastic with a damp, lint-free towel. While water will usually be enough to remove light surface marks, you can use rubbing alcohol to remove stubborn stains.
-
-
3
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the monitor of your Mac. Gently stroke the monitor vertically.
-
4
Spray a compressed air cleaner to clean out the dust and other undesirables from the Mac keyboard.

Tips & Warnings
Do not use rough towels or window cleaner on the screen, as both can damage it.
Cleaning the interior of a Mac computer, should you be able to open it, is no different than cleaning a PC. Use extra care with the sensitive internal components, as some Apple computer warranties are violated if the machine is opened.
