How to Convert MP3 Files to Play on a CD Player

You can create a custom audio CD library of MP3 files by using the free iTunes software. iTunes is available for the Mac and Windows operating systems. The software will burn the CD in the Compact Disk Digital Audio (CDDA) format, which ensures that it will play on any compact disc player. Each audio CD can hold up to approximately 74 minutes of music. The total amount of time for the CD will be shown in the task bar at the bottom of the iTunes screen when the playlist is selected.
