How to Remove the Wiper Arms on a Honda Odyssey
The wiper arms on your Honda Odyssey are an important part of your windshield wiper system. The wiper arms provide a link between the wiper blades and linkage, ultimately receiving power from the wiper motor. Removing the wiper arms isn't as simple as removing wiper blades; the arms aren't a scheduled maintenance item. Removing the wiper arms is the same on all Honda Odyssey models produced from 2002 to 2010; other years should be similar.

1
Turn your engine and wiper switch off, and then open the hood. Use the pliers to disconnect the negative battery cable.
-
2
Close the hood and remove the wiper blades. Removing the wiper blades makes removing the arms easier. Extend the blades, and then open the latch. Slide the blades down and away from the clip.

3
Remove the caps from the wiper arms. The caps are located at the base, near the cowl cover. Twist the caps to remove them.
-
4
Remove the push-pin clips by inserting a small Phillips screwdriver into the center of the push-pin clips to disengage them and then pull them off.
-
5
Remove the wiper arms. Once the push-pin clips are removed, the wiper arms separate from the linkage with ease. If you want to install a new wiper arm, the process is the reverse of removal.
