Instructions

    • 1

Unplug the table saw for safety. Remember, even a dull blade can cut, so wear gloves.

    • 2

Remove the blade guard, blade insert and splitter if equipped. Raise the blade to full height.

    • 3

Use the table saw wrench to loosen the arbor bolt. Remember, the table saw has reverse threads to keep the blade from coming loose while operating. For a right tilt saw, pull the wrench toward you to loosen.

    • 4

Remove the arbor nut, cup washer and blade.

    • 5

Check inside the cabinet for any debris and remove. Check the belts for signs of wear. Use a compressor to remove any sawdust.

    • 6

Lubricate the trunnion gear, worm gear, arbor gear and, if equipped, the fence travel gear. Use a dry lube that won't attract sawdust. Do this monthly. Use a spray can of white lithium grease.

    • 7

Install a new or clean blade, and check the blade rotation. Install the cup washer and arbor nut. Don't over tighten. Install the splitter, blade insert and blade guard.

    • 8

Using a square check, ensure the blade is 90 degrees to the table. Lower the blade.

    • 9

Wax the table and fence with a non-silicon paste wax.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't over tighten the blade.

  • Remember, the table saw has reverse threads to keep the blade from coming loose while operating.

  • Wear safety glasses and gloves; always handle the blade with care.
