The Bank of America WorldPoints program is an easy way to earn freebies from hundreds of participating vendors and service providers. For every dollar you spend using your Bank of America card, you can earn travel miles, hotel accommodations, sporting and event tickets, cash and even donate to your favorite charities. Redeeming your points is easy.

• Active Bank of America credit card account

Instructions

1. Accrue WorldPoints by doing your everyday shopping and putting the balance on your credit card. Every dollar you spend earns you redeemable points. If you have a gold card account, you may even be able to get points by paying your mortgage.

2. Set up a WorldPoints account on the Bank of America website. You'll need to provide your card information, as well as a valid address and telephone number.

3. Log in to your Bank of America account online and choose the option to redeem your WorldPoints. On the WorldPoints Reward page, the options for redemption are listed.

4. Check your current statement for the number of points you've accrued since your last cycle. Points are only eligible for redemption once they are listed on your credit card statement.

5. Choose the item you wish to redeem your points on.

6. Ensure that your address and shipping information is up-to-date before confirming and completing your order. In the event that you are redeeming for travel accommodations, such as air miles, you need to provide your frequent flier program number and the details on that account. You may also be prompted to provide your Social Security number to confirm your identity.

• You can also browse through items when you're not signed in to your account. You'll be prompted to log in upon choosing an item.
