How to Download Pictures From a Stylus 760 to iPhoto
After taking some amazing pictures with your snappy Olympus Stylus 760 digital camera, you are now ready to download those photos to your computer. The iPhoto software on your Mac is waiting to be used. Transferring photos from camera to computer is easy. Once you practice the process a couple of times, it will become second nature to you.

Make sure that the camera battery is not completely drained. If it is, then it may not have enough power to transfer pictures to the computer. If it is drained, remove the battery and recharge it in the battery's docking station.

Connect one end of the USB chord to the camera. Then connect the other end of the USB chord to one of the free USB ports on the computer. iPhoto should open automatically. If it does not, then check the "Finder" option to see if the camera is detected (connected to the USB drive). Then double-click on the camera in "Finder" and you should have a window open up where you can drag pictures onto the desktop, so that you can later transfer them into the iPhoto.

If the camera still does not show up as having been plugged into the computer, then try disconnecting the USB chord from the USB port on the computer. Plug the USB chord into the other USB port and see if the camera shows up.

Assuming that the camera is showing up as having been plugged into the computer, and iPhoto is now open, select "PC" on the camera screen and hit "OK" on the crosspad on the back of the camera. This will begin the transfer process from the camera to the computer.

On the computer screen, a message should pop up asking if you want to delete the originals and if you want to import your photos. Name your album and roll. You have now successfully imported your photos into iPhoto.
