How to Remove Internet Explorer Toolbars Permanently
Many download software off the Internet that automatically installs a toolbar on the browser that they did not want. Some toolbars might supply helpful information and links to interesting sites while others are a petty annoyance that takes control of their Internet browsing. One way to get rid of this annoying toolbar is to temporarily remove it from the browser by disabling it temporarily. That way, later on, the computer user can easily reinstall the toolbar if they change their mind. Open up the Internet Explorer Browser on the computer and look at the name of the toolbar. Note: the name of the toolbar should be prominently displayed. Click tools and scan your eyes down the list. For example: in this scenario the computer user wishes to remove the yahoo toolbar. Write down the name of the toolbar. Have the correct name in place so that you do not make an error and remove the wrong item.

Now close the browser. Click start/control panel. Once the control panel is displayed. Search for the Add/Remove programs icon. Double click the Add/Remove programs icon.

The Add/Remove display box should appear. Click the change or remove programs box to the left side. Wait till all the programs are displayed in the box. Now scan down the list of programs until the yahoo toolbar is found. Click the yahoo toolbar/click remove button. These steps should permanently delete the toolbar from the browser.
