How to Replace a Jeep Fuel Filter
The fuel filter on your Jeep provides a means to strain out contaminants so that the fuel going to the combustion chamber of the engine is as pure as possible. You should service your Jeep's fuel filter on a regular basis per the schedule in the service manual for your particular vehicle. Wear safety glasses for this procedure so that gasoline does not accidentally splash into your eyes.

Use the service manual for the year and model of your Jeep to determine specific procedures.
Be careful so that gasoline does not splash into your eyes. If that happens, flush your eyes with running water for five minutes, and seek medical attention.
