Tips & Warnings
To sanitize your glass jugs, you can boil them in a large pot of water for 15 minutes, rinse them with a solution of water and crushed campdem tablets, or soak them in a bleach water mixture made of one ounce of bleach to five gallons of water.
To siphon the liquid from the filled jug, place the filled jug on a table and the empty jug on the floor. Put one end of the plastic tubing in the filled jug and gently suck on the other end to start the liquid flowing. Quickly place that end in the empty jug.
To test if your wine is done fermenting, gently tap the jug. If no bubbles rise to the top, the fermenting process is done.
Your wine is best if you let it age for up to six months.
You can use other types of juice if you want to try other flavors of wine. Just make sure you use 100 percent juice.

Sounds delicious! I've made an apple wine, but haven't tried an apple pie wine. I usually use an auto-siphon to rack my wine from the primary fermentation vessel to a secondary, I'm a little leery about starting a siphon by mouth. That's just me, I know people have been doing it that way probably for centuries. Anyway great article with very clear instructions. 5*
