How to Set Quick Contacts on Gmail
Gmail is a web email service provided by Google. Like other email services, it allows you to send and receive emails and communicate using the chat feature. It also allows you to add contacts to a "Quick Contacts" list and view when other users on the list come online. You can also select the location to display your list on your email account. Adding contacts and setting the location of your Quick Contacts list is simple process.

Log in to your Gmail account using your ID and password.

Add contacts to your "Quick Contacts" list. To do so, click the "Add Contacts" button on the left panel under "Quick Contacts." Select the person(s) to add to the list under "All Contacts." Select "Always" under "Show in chat list" if you want to know when the person is available to chat.

Set the location of your Quick Contacts list. To do so, click the "Settings" button on the top right of your account. Click the "Chat" tab. Select the appropriate option you want to use to set the location of your Quick Contacts under " Quick Contacts Location."

Click "Save all Changes." You should see the Quick Contacts on the location that you selected.
