How to Keep My Down Comforter From Slipping in the Duvet Cover
Down comforters are well known for their ability to provide warmth in cooler months. However, they are usually bland in color. To personalize a down comforter, and to add to the decor of a room, a duvet cover is an excellent choice. Duvet covers come in endless color varieties and patterns and are easily interchangeable. They easily cover a down comforter, combining the warmth of the down with the beauty of the cover. The only downside is the slippage of the comforter inside the duvet cover. Comforter Clips

Turn the cover inside out so that the clips can grab the corners of it.

Lay the duvet cover out flat. Place the comforter on top of it so the corners match up.

Open a clip, then put both the comforter corner and duvet cover corner into the clip. Close the clip securely so that the corners don't slip out. Repeat for all corners.

Flip the duvet cover back around the comforter so that it's completely contained again. The clips stay fastened, keeping the comforter in place.
Sewing it Together

Turn the duvet cover inside out.

Using a needle and thread, attach the twill tape to the duvet cover corners. Make sure to use thread that matches the duvet cover so that the stitching doesn't stand out.

Use the same method to stitch the twill tape to each comforter corner. Since no one will see this stitching, don't worry about matching it to the comforter.

Knot the twill tape tightly so that the comforter and duvet cover corners stay together.

Turn the duvet cover right side out, containing the comforter.
