How to Make a Chapstick Holder
With cold weather comes dry skin and lips. Forgetting to bring along chapstick is a common issue with those living in cold weather. Fortunately, there is a simple solution. Making your own chapstick holder can significantly resolve your issues and will prevent you from ever forgetting your chapstick again.

1
Buy your chapstick and about 1/8 of a foot of fabric. Try to seek an aesthetically pleasing fabric, as this will be your future chapstick cover.
-
2
Measure the length of the chapstick. Find the circumference and the length of the chapstick.
-
-
3
Cut a piece of fabric that is slightly more (by about .125 inches) than the circumference in width and the same length as the stick. For instance, if your circumference was 1 inch and your length was 2 inches, your measurement will be 1.125 inch-by-2 inches.
-
4
Hold the fabric with the short width at the top. Fold vertically along the center. It should still have the same length as before.
-
5
Sew along all the open edges of the fabric except one of the shortest sides. This will be your opening for the chapstick.
-
6
Cut a small hole close to the opening, if desired. This will be your place to insert the chapstick.
-
7
Finally, place your chapstick inside your holder, and you're ready to go.
