Access the data on your microSD card by hooking your Droid up to your computer.

Your Motorola Droid has a microSD card to store your music, photos, games, videos and other data. Much like your digital camera, you can take photos and videos with your Motorola Droid and quickly transfer them off of your phone's data storage card onto your PC.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your Motorola Droid by pressing the "Power/Unlock" button on the top right side of the phone.

    • 2

Insert the USB data cable into a high-power USB slot on your PC or laptop and the other end into your Droid smartphone.

    • 3

Drag down your "Notification" notices on the screen and tap "USB connected."

    • 4

Tap "Mount" if your phone presents a pop-up notification with two options: "Mount" and "Don't Mount." This step is not necessary on all Motorola Droid phones, so you may not receive that option.

    • 5

Select your Motorola Droid's microSD drive from the pop-up menu on your computer. If you do not get a pop-up, go to "My Computer" and select the removable drive that would correspond to your Droid's microSD card.
