How to Become a Quickbooks Trainer
If you are an accountant or a financial adviser, you can become Quickbooks certified and provide Quickbook training programs to your clients. Intuit provides a certification program that once completed certifies you as an accredited trainer and allows you to hold your own training workshops as well as consulting clients on an individual basis. The training program is not overly difficult to complete if you are well versed in the financial industry.

Visit the website listed in Resources and browse to the "Become Quickbooks Certified" at the bottom left of the page.

Read the information on the different types of certifications and their uses on the next page. Choose which program is right for you and your practice and then click on the "Enroll Now" button at the top right hand side of the page.

Call the phone number listed on the next page or click on "Request a Time" for a representative to call you. The representative will walk you through the enrollment process and will take your payment information for the $449.00 enrollment fee.

Log into the Intuit website using your trainer ID which was emailed to you by the sales representative. Complete the coursework listed under your account at your own pace.

Take the certification test at the end of the course and score 85 percent or better to receive your certificate of completion for the course and become a Quickbooks trainer.

Tips & Warnings
The course material claims that it takes approximately 16 hours to complete each certification course. You can break this time up anyway you want (two days, a few weeks, etc.).
