How to Clean Vinyl Car Trim

Most cars today use vinyl extensively, from the roof to the interior and everywhere in between. If you don't properly maintain your vinyl, it can dry and crack, which looks unsightly. It's all about preventive maintenance with vinyl, so taking a few steps to clean your car properly will help a lot.

      Wipe down the vinyl panel using the microfiber towels. These towels clean mechanically and will remove any dust or specks off the panel.

      Spray the vinyl protectant onto the panel, making sure to direct the spray so that it doesn't get on the glass of the car. There are various types of finishes in vinyl protectants, including high sheen, low sheen and neutral finish, so pick your own style according to your preferences.

      Wipe down the panel with the microfiber towel, working the vinyl protectant into the panel.

      Repeat the process if you see any dry or dull parts of the panel, or if you missed a spot.
