Download iTunes: Visit www.apple.com/itunes/download to get the latest version of iTunes. The installer will download first then you'll have to go through the installer to install on your hard drive (Local disc C:). Restart your computer one last time and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure you check to see if you have 32 bit running or 64 bit because you will need a special installer for 64 bit.

  • During the installer iTunes will ask you whether you want certain settings to remained checked, I recommend leaving all options checked with the default iTunes settings.

  • Don't worry! Removing iTunes and its components from your computer will not remove any of your music (iTunes is just the program that plays your music files). You could theoretically remove iTunes and not install it again and still locate the music files on your computer and play them through Windows Media Player.
