How to Put Cheats on Action Replay DS

Action Replay DS is a cheat device for the Nintendo DS. Players can use cheats to be given access to things that the player would normally have to work for (or not have access to at all). Common video game cheats include level selection, unlocking all items and invincibility mode. Action Replay DS does not contain cheats, it is merely a device that allows the player to cheat. Free cheat codes can be easily found online.

Things You'll Need

• Action Replay DS cartridge
• Computer with Windows operating system
• Nintendo DS or DS Lite

Instructions

1. Launch the "Code Manager Software." With the Action Replay device hooked up to your computer via its USB port, place the mouse over the DS cartridge button at the top right of the screen. Select "Software Upgrade."

2. Click "Yes" when prompted to confirm the software upgrade. Wait for Action Replay DS upgrade.

3. Right click in an open area under the "My Codelist" section of Action Replay DS. Select "Add New Cheat." The "Cheat Details" window will pop up.

4. Enter the cheat name in the top box and the numeric code for the cheat in the lower box. Click "OK."
